elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>R\u00e9aliser un aquarium r\u00e9cifal avec succ\u00e8s d\u00e9pend du maintien de la stabilit\u00e9 des param\u00e8tres d&rsquo;eau aux valeurs des \u00e9l\u00e9ments majeurs, mineurs et traces dont les coraux ont besoin. Bien que de nombreux \u00e9l\u00e9ments jouent un r\u00f4le important dans le maintien des param\u00e8tres d\u2019eau d\u00e9sir\u00e9s, seuls peu ont un r\u00f4le crucial sur la stabilit\u00e9 globale d&rsquo;un aquarium r\u00e9cifal. Ceux-ci sont les \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00ab\u00a0fondamentaux\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;un environnement r\u00e9cifal et incluent trois \u00e9l\u00e9ments majeurs\u00a0: calcium (Ca2+), magn\u00e9sium (Mg2+) et bicarbonates (HCO3 2-). Ces trois \u00e9l\u00e9ments ont un r\u00f4le majeur sur la chimie de l&rsquo;eau (stabilit\u00e9 du pH, alcalinit\u00e9 KH, force ionique de l&rsquo;eau) et sur les processus biologiques des coraux (formation du squelette, \u00e9changes d&rsquo;ions et photosynth\u00e8se).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h4><strong>Formation du squelette<\/strong><\/h4><div><p>Les coraux construisent leur squelette par un processus unique appel\u00e9 squelettogen\u00e8se. Lors de ce processus, une couche de cellules sp\u00e9ciales dans les tissus mous des coraux transporte, s\u00e9cr\u00e8te et concentre les 3 \u00e9l\u00e9ments fondamentaux (calcium, magn\u00e9sium, bicarbonates) et d&rsquo;autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments (strontium et baryum) dans des aires sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es appel\u00e9es \u00ab\u00a0centres de calcification\u00a0\u00bb o\u00f9 une matrice de carbonate de calcium (aragonite) est form\u00e9e.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Le processus est tr\u00e8s complexe, comprenant diff\u00e9rentes voies de transport d&rsquo;ions \u00e0 la fois de la colonne d&rsquo;eau vers les centres de calcification et inversement. Certaines de ces voies sont passives, comme la diffusion passive \u00e0 travers les membranes cellulaires, tandis que d&rsquo;autres n\u00e9cessitent des m\u00e9thodes plus actives et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques comme la diffusion active par prot\u00e9ines \u00ab\u00a0pompes\u00a0\u00bb ou porteuses, co\u00fbteuses en \u00e9nergie pour les coraux. L&rsquo;\u00e9change constant d&rsquo;ions permet la squelettogen\u00e8se, et sans cela les coraux ne pourraient pas cr\u00e9er de squelette stable et sain. Dans les centres de calcification, les bicarbonates et le calcium pr\u00e9cipitent en carbonate de calcium (CaCO3- aragonite). Durant le processus, un grand nombre de protons (H+) est lib\u00e9r\u00e9 et pomp\u00e9 vers l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des cellules du corail, maintenant un pH constamment \u00e9lev\u00e9 de 9,3 \u2013 10,3. Ce pH \u00e9lev\u00e9 am\u00e9liore la pr\u00e9cipitation du CaCO3 et sans ce pH \u00e9lev\u00e9, le squelette corallien commencerait \u00e0 se dissoudre.<\/p><\/div><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><strong>Comment le Reef Foundation Program de Red Sea soutient la squelettogen\u00e8se\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p><p>Dans le milieu naturel les \u00e9l\u00e9ments cr\u00e9ant les conditions de croissance des coraux, leur sant\u00e9 et coloration sont disponibles comme un r\u00e9servoir in\u00e9puisable. Au contraire, dans un aquarium r\u00e9cifal ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments sont rapidement \u00e9puis\u00e9s et deviennent le facteur limitant \u00e0 la croissance des coraux. Sans contr\u00f4les ni ajouts r\u00e9guliers, des concentrations parfois l\u00e9tales pour les coraux peuvent \u00eatre atteintes. Ainsi une surveillance et un ajustement des concentrations des \u00e9l\u00e9ments fondamentaux sont essentiels pour fournir des param\u00e8tres de l&rsquo;eau n\u00e9cessaires pour une croissance stable, forte et acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e des coraux, et am\u00e9liorer leur coloration.
