1. Dedicated skimmer chamber
The rear sump includes a dedicated media chamber for additional chemical filtration, such as Red Sea’s REEF-SPEC carbon, that is supplied with the Desktop.

DESKTOP aquariums have a rimless design and are made from 8 mm, ultra-clear glass, which provides a superb viewing experience.

The DESKTOP comes with a dedicated skimmer / bio-media chamber, REEF-SPEC carbon, a bubble trap sponge, and a 225 micron filter bag, providing your tank with comprehensive mechanical and chemical filtration.
DESKTOP protein skimmer (optional)
The DESKTOP skimmer implements Red Sea’s REEF-SPEC filtration criteria and passes the entire water volume through the skimmer approximately 3 times per hour, with a 3 to 1 water to air ratio. This provides sufficient filtration for even the most delicate SPS corals.

** Please note: installing the DESKTOP protein skimmer will prevent you from installing the ReefLED 50 light via a mounting arm, but you will be able to easily install the ReefLED 50 with a hanging kit.
DESKTOP automatic top-off (optional)
An automatic top-off unit with a 1.5 liter/ 0.4 gal freshwater reservoir maintains a constant water level and is sufficient for approximately 3 days of evaporation.

DESKTOP circulation pump 950 (optional)
The 950lph/240gph Sicce return pump implements Red Sea’s REEF-SPEC filtration criteria and circulates the entire system water volume about 10 times an hour.

The fish protector efficiently prevents fish from accidentally swimming into the rear sump.

ReefLED 50 lighting (optional)
Uniquely designed with light intensity and spectrum that is 100% utilized by the corals, the ReefLED 50 is 100% reef-safe & 100% REEF-SPEC, providing optimal growth, vivid colors, and an elegant gentle shimmer throughout the aquarium.
